The US, size of a continent with 340m population and the most mature white collar job market globally - “rough market for marketers”
You are exponentially more likely to find something in the US versus moving to a city with 4m population that’s part of a petrostate with no real economy if the job market is your main concern, unless you want to move here for other reasons
Dude. Drinking koolaid - US may have challenges but it’s probably the most fair market in world for immigrants to get good jobs if qualified.
UAE definitely isn’t a fair playing field and with no real connections your chances here are near zero. Marketing especially values local experience. Do you have any clue how to market to the target audience here?

If you feel the playing field is unfair in the US, wait till you see how Dubai treats blue vs other passport colors . Also refer to your self as an expat not an immigrant- level your self up
I don’t understand what it is about this sub that is so unhelpful. Here you have a person asking for advice on if the time is right to move, and answers go on a tangent of debating that the US is a great market. It’s always either random tangents or an F to follow here.
OP, to answer your question, at least with my limited knowledge of my firm + a couple of others - pipelines are weak / dead driven by the Saudi slowdown. Lots of firms doing investment projects for free to keep people busy. Not a good time to be looking for a job in the region.
