Hi, I recently received offer letter from Novartis along with few other forms related to BGC verification, government ID etc.

I have completed all the formalities of accepting the offer and the current status on Workday is “Offer process completed”

However, HR haven’t asked me to upload any proof regarding prior employment- salary slips etc.

Is this normal? Can I go ahead and resign at my current company?

I've been offered for Engineering expert position at Novartis India. I've received offer letter 2 weeks back and my DOJ is updated to Mid December. I told the HR that my current company's last working day is on mid January and resend the offer letter with mid Jan as my DOJ. But they told that they can send the revised offer letter 3 weeks before the joining date.
Is this normal process? Has anyone gone through similar experience?
