It will depend on if they are legally allowed to hire out of US. It’s incredibly expensive to hire someone outside of the US, and illegal without a LOT of paperwork. Upwork recently launched a program to hire employees outside of the US as a W2 through a shell company, but Upwork takes a chunk of your pay to do this, so there is a trade-off.
I went a lot of times to the US for work, and its a nice place but I also love my country and I think I will miss family and friends. Also my mother is ill and dont want to be far away from her. I stayed 6 months in Chicago and loved it, but dont know if I see myself living in the US
If you are speaking about remote work, it's much easier to work as a contractor when remote. However, with so many going remote and many starting to travel, companies are more likely to finally start working on global-level solutions. I would suggest looking into the companies that are starting to support their digital nomad employees They are the ones with HR offices that are more likely to be able to manage the paperwork. https://www.forbes.com/sites/larryenglish/2020/10/28/supporting-digital-nomads-in-your-business-is-good-for-the-bottom-line/
Thank you for your input
If you're only planning on coming for a few months at a time as opposed to moving to the states permanently, it might be difficult. I'm not too knowledgeable on the subject, but from my understanding there's a lot of red tape for the company to be able to hire you, and short work periods probably means they'd have to get through all that on repeat just to rehire you.
