First, I would reformat the resume. It isn't easy to read it. Use some more generic resumes that recruiters are used to. Second, an F1 visa has no damaging mental wellness mentality. You have gone through more things to come to this country to give up right now. Don't get discouraged, and keep applying! You will find something if you put in the work!
Your masters degree doesnt seem to be in STEM. Can you confirm that? If your long time goal is to stay in US, its preferred for you to major in STEM as you can work for 3 years without a visa sponsorship
I agree with the comments above . I would make sure that you are using a standard format as it is a little hard to read. I also agree that you should keep applying! I know that it can be very discouraging but hang in there. You will find something that you like.
I’m going to be honest. All international students at every school has the same goal, which is to obtain their H1B visa which is extremely difficult.
As the people said above, at USC, STEM majors get 3 years of OPT.
First, I would utilize LinkedIn to network with fellow Trojans. We have an amazing alumni network. That’s what we are known for.
Second, I would attend any career fair/events that USC provides.
Third, I would join any student organizations to maximize your chances of meeting professionals/recruiters at their events.
Stay strong. Good luck!
