Hi I'm reaching for h1b 6 year max out by jan 2027. My house have an approved i140. I want to transition to h4 EAD but with the current wait time if I get my h4 first and the EAD is still under process, I wont be able to work for that time period. Can someone suggest how Deloitte supports the gap and from where do I get that written confirmation before starting the process?

This one is for folks on h1b visa. So at time when you have an offer in hand(not accepted the offer yet and h1b transfer process not yet begun) while you are working with your current employer, do you even speak to your employer about your new offer to see if they make a counter offer?
Is there a risk involved with this approach assuming your current employer doesn't provide you with a counter offer and they ask you to leave immediately (and your h1b visa hasn't been transferred either)
