I’m currently taking a complete break from dating (no one on the horizon, no hung up on an ex, no dating apps) in order to get back to being myself and figuring out what I want, and in that self reflection I’ve realized that I have met/dated so many people who think or say they are dating to find their person, but are really just filling some void or insecurity. What happens if my H1b extension gets rejected? Will Deloitte transfer me to USI?

I came to US on an L1b in 2018 and switched to H1b in 2021 Oct. Current 797/visa expiry is stated as July 2023, by which I would have spent 1.5 years on H1b visa (and 3.5 years on L1b before that). During h1b extension , will I get another 4.5 years of extension? How does extension work when u switch visas?
