Hi Folks, I am working in infy and planning to drop paper this week. As I don't have offer in hand but 90 days NP impacting to get new job. Also my compansation is not good as per exp. So that is the first reason and no new tech learning and project change happening with me. Also in last cycle they didn't give good rating bcoz i was asking for new project ..??
So is sept is good time to drop paper at infy.... Should I dropped or wait ??

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.

Was recently offered a job in Hawaii that would be a much larger role than I currently have (deputy chief architect). The downside is the cost of living is nearly double my current location and I would only be getting a 40% pay increase. Do you think it’s worth giving up quality of life/spending value decrease to accept the larger career and possibly expedite my career progression?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
