If you’re working on a certification but still have not completed it, would you list it on your resume?

You can list it as “In-Progress” and then include an anticipated or actual completion date.

And add what parts you have completed.

Yes. If you feel it is relevant to your job experience and any role you're looking to transition into, add it with your expected completion date. I did this recently and listed under it any professional development opportunities/relevant coursework that I felt was important. For example:
Certificate: [Name of Certificate] | [Expected Completion Date]
School: [Name of School]
-- Professional Development opportunities
-- Relevant Coursework Completed
-- Completed Projects: [github projects, etc]

Depends on what it is

I just did a technical interview with one of the FANG companies. I was actually contacted by a sourcer for a specific role at a specific team based on my professional background— for example, Gaming. But I would like to know if I can send my application materials to other teams as well, that are in a different “field” like Search or Customer service. Is it acceptable to mention this in my next chat with recruiter or sourcer? Or will this jeopardize my opportunity?

Need resume advice. I got tech lead at just 4yoe by filling a vacuum for ML ops on a team of ad hoc DS's. Have numbers to back my work up, but feel like lead this early in my career (at big tech) is too unbelievable. Recruiters like my resume for hitting all the buzzwords and then some, but I'm not getting great traction after they fwd it to HMs. Should I intentionally undersell myself, or leave my lead stuff on there?

*Rn have to prioritize getting an offer fast, not title or TC, unfortunately

There might not be a good answer, but let me know your thoughts. This will be long so will continue in comments. I am a maintenance tech. I started with my company 1 year ago, was recently offered a 3% raise in my review contingent upon acquiring an HVAC cert. that they’re paying for. I currently make $20/hr. I have been told by everyone, including two people in corporate that after completing HVAC cert., I will get a $2 raise. At my review they said that was never an option.

Not a confession but looking for some honest answers. It seems like if you are a tall male, it almost doesn’t matter what you look like and people respect you, women want to be with you, etc. Take away a few inches and you have to look like Tom Cruise to get a date. My question is what “regular “ or job that doesn’t require a portfolio can i get with the skill of a designer while I rebuild my portfolio and apply for jobs. Working for restaurant is not cutting it.
