no way you’re running a food business on the side of a FT corporate job. this is going to require FT commitment - hiring someone to manage the business will not only eat your margins but also just not be effective.
Most importantly, given this will require FT commitment, you will need to achieve sufficient scale to even come close to your current comp.
I’m with S1. I stepped in to help an uncle run his Dunkin Donut in high school and college and it made me absolutely hate anything having to do with the food services industry. I have PTSD from those few years.
Like you own the place and then have somebody else manage it?
What corporate strategy are you in? As in which industry? And what firm is giving a Senior Director title to 29 year olds?
The ~30 hours a week is what got me.
