How is the price of equity calculated while giving an offer? Is it the price as of date?

I am an Audit S1 that wants to work in a B4 Forensics practice. Would it be best for me to accept an offer in Forensics at a much smaller firm (local, 150ish total employees) to gain experience and then try to move to B4 Forensics? Or should I stay in Audit and wait for B4 Forensics positions to open up? Please let me know your thoughts!

Travel and TTC combo haven’t worked. After 6 months, the only offer I got included 4 weeks paid and FLMA only after 1 year. So 1) go and risk laughable benefits or 2) stay but risk TTC. So shitty 😭

I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(

Eyeing an open spot as a Senior Manager GPS Contracts DOD Sub-Sector Lead. What would be the anticipated compensation (base + bonus%?) for this role? I imagine it’s an internal (non-client facing) role within the larger GPS division. Currently have 14+YOE of specialized DOD contracting experience to include supervisory experience. TIA

I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. Hello, i have offer from PWC SDC Banglore, I asked for salary revision based on counter offer, HR agreed but said revised offer letter will be shared next day after joining and mail confirmation will be given a week prior to joining date.

Is this the practice of compansation revision for new joiners at pwc SdC banglore?
