I have received offer from Wipro which is little above than the offer that I am holding but fixed pay is less. Thinking of rejecting Wipro offer. Is it better to reject or accept and then not join. Also if I reject, will there be any issue like they won't consider me in future?Tata Consultancy Wipro Cognizant Infosys

Leadership is unfortunately incentivized to replace most of their domestic workers with workers from the world’s most populous country as they’re under the delusion that hiring people who culturally work longer hours and aren’t as agressive with pay rises demands is good for business.
All fun and games until the clients realise they aren’t getting the same level of service as before, are dealing with teams with less soft skills and different cultural norms, and the business then starts shrinking.
I still remember being involved in a big digital transformation project which was so big that the roles and resp. were shared amongst a few consulting firms and IT service providers…. Over the duration of the project one of the IT firms had effectively bamboozled the client into eventually contracting 70 (!) offshore analysts from the world’s most populous country for implementation (their initially expected headcount was 8 onshore, 10 offshore).
They treated the whole thing as a summer camp, bamboozled the client into splurging on tech which wasn’t adapted to the requirements… it ended as the biggest circus show I’ve ever attended, and the client who commissioned this mess in the first place got fired.

Corporates don’t care, they see employees as numbers and just wanna get the most out of everyone.
Unfortunately some managers are just corporate slaves so they just do what they’ve been told. Better to focus on on yourself and don’t take it too seriously.
