Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Anyone have insider info on what adam&eveDDB, Mother London, and Uncommon look for in planners? Are they looking for awards? Thought leadership? Looking to make a move and want to take a shot at those 3!

My school deliberately cut the number of classes that the specials teachers teach so that we could be building subs for quarantined and sick teachers (we are hybrid). So... I teach fewer classes (which is a relief because specials teachers teach way more classes than core teachers normally) but I'm pulled for most of my planning periods to babysit classes. I need my planning periods so I can redo my ENTIRE curriculum... and I just feel unappreciated, used, and nothing more than a babysitter.

My GCD barely says hi to me when passing + doesn’t listen to me in meetings. It’s not a gender thing bc I see him talk to senior ADs all the time. How do I not be THAT junior?

Anyone in NYC living in a neighborhood that is relatively safe with minimal crime, no loiterers or homeless in your neighborhood? My neighborhood has become disgusting and uninhabitable during the pandemic. I am looking to move to a wealthy and upscale area where you don’t see garbage on the streets, people defecating and urinating in public, and don’t need to worry about your local bank getting robbed every day. Are there any parts of Manhattan left that have not been destroyed?
