For those who have obtained the CFF certification:
I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

MAcc, CPA, CFE, CAMS 4+ years experience in public accounting, 2 years in FinTech Assurance and 2 years in forensics. Im slotted for manager promotion in September, but started looking for a new job in forensics. What base pay should I be looking for at the manager level?

I’m working as an allocator in market neutral public market strategy funds; am about to be recommended for a promotion to associate. However, an analyst position just opened up internally in Credit, which is where I aspire to be for the next ten years. More growth and more intellectual challenge. I’m conflicted about applying for a lateral transfer and losing out on a promotion. Will I be missing out a promotion or should I negotiate a promotion as part of my application to this role ?

I have a NP of 3 months, But I told the HR during initial screening that it is 2 months

Now, all technical rounds are completed and only final HR round is left. Should I tell them now that I have 3 months NP or should I wait for the offer to roll out, put my papers and after some time contact the HR again and tell them?
