How common is it to receive good feedback internally on work, but then much later down the road find out your higher ups are saying they aren’t happy with the work and actually place blame on you? How can I use this experience to get better?

It’s common at bad agencies.

You’re junior… they need to lead you and teach you.

Common with bad managers/bad leadership.

Sounds like they didn’t know what they were looking for at the start and how to give good feedback. Then come the IR or client meetings and they found out what they missed. The things they should’ve known to catch or guide you on. Common with creatives who moved up in leadership quicker than they gained experience.

This resonates with what I think happened. Thanks.

How do they place blame on you? Maybe you are reading it wrong. Seems strange for leadership to blame something on a junior writer.

Not really. Higher ups love to say you’re great yet throw shade at you to make you feel like you’re not good at your job.

ALSO BARKLEY. I was there. I feel you. Do it.

Are they just trying to be nice in the initial review? Tough to say without additional context.

For less than 4 years experience new tech job gettig good pay but others getting very less.

In dev job Java, spring r etc getting better pay. Also some SAP consultant are also get paid high.
Is exp people in testing/frontend dev are less due to which they getting better pay than others with experience.
