I'm getting a MAcc to career change to forensic accounting. What opportunities are available to me with a data analytics heavy MAcc? I'm also tacking on 2 graduate certificates in Applied Statistics and International Economic Policy? For those in the field, would that be useful or not useful (i.e. waste of time)? I'm interested in investigations but also analytics, financial modeling, and expert witness services. Throw in salary potential for bonus points. I'll be getting my CPA, CFE, and CAMS.

Hi Fishes, i am currently looking for a job change. My current role and responsibilities are as follows:
Role : Technology analyst
Technology : Tableau desktop, Tableau server, Tableau prep, Advance SQL, Python
Development methodologies: Agile, waterfall
Certification: SQL intermediate and advance (hackerrank), python basic and intermediate ( hackerrank), currently preparing for alteryx and tableau data analyst certifications
Work experience : 5 Years
Any referrals will be highly appreciated.

My temp contract has been extended. I’m relieved to be able to pay the bills, but after giving 70-80 shots a day, I literally dream about giving vaccines almost every night! Struggling to keep positive about finding a new permanent job - I was laid off at the end of April, have applied to over 60 jobs, had 6 interviews, and no offers. I can’t go back to chain retail - it damn near broke me in my 20’s, and it’s much worse now.

For the BDRs or AEs out there - what does your manager expect daily/weekly when it comes to activity metrics?

Do we have access to learning platforms like Coursera and udemy or anything else? Or do we have an option for reimbursement?

Anyone else had a poor experience at the company? It was a very painful process to come to terms that the dream job might not be so dreamy after all. I went through moral harassment, lack of scope, a dismantled team and unprepared HR people that were not able to help me, nor take any actions towards port leaders. So, if anyone out there is struggling like I was, just know you’re not alone.
