How did you guys find yourselves in consulting? I'm curious if anyone set out to be a consultant when they were in school or when they entered the workforce? I'm pretty sure every consultant I know, including myself, just sort of found ourselves in this field.

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

See a lot of people slamming their “big firm” experience and wanting to move on from it. I’ve got 2YOE but not at a big firm and can’t help feeing I’m missing out on something (name brand, skills, network etc). Is it better not to chase it and go somewhere else (tech / startups etc) rather than trying to get in at entry level ?

After 4 months of casually applying and 3 months of dedicated searching after work hours, 130+ applications, 5 recruiter screens and 3 final rounds later... finally found an exit!!! You can all do it - I believe in you all!
