You’re thinking is smart in my opinion. Framing your ask around company goals shows alignment, not entitlement. I’ve had better luck negotiating when I linked my value to their priorities in order to emphasize that I'm a team player. While it’s not totally your responsibility, I definitely think it can strengthen your case if done right.
Not sure I'm totally understand what you're asking. But as a general concept, negotiating your salary based on what you bring to the company is a solid strategy. And if you can demonstrate that what you bring to the table aligns with the company's priorities, that's all the better.
