When I was at VMware as an AE they made us all read the challenger sale. Thought it was a solid book, maybe give that a shot.

Actual leadership and sales skill only come from real on the ground experience! They can’t be learnt from books

likefunny

SC1 - ppl who write these books actually write it basis their experiences only.
Did you learnt about history in school by actually participating in those events? Or by knowledge of ppl who hd witnessed and documented it. You won’t be a consultant had you not learnt the capabilities of the role in your academics.
I respect your opinion but reading helps too! In today’s age, you cannot be given multiple opportunities to make things right.. so learn from examples of leadership who did wrong, learnt lesson and ppl have documented it as learning!

Wonder if anyone can offer advice on which cert to pursue next? I obtained my CompTIA Security+ last year and wondering if I should go for the CySA+ or Pentest+ next. I also have my AWS CCP and will be sitting for the Solutions Architect soon as well. Currently not doing security stuff at work but would love to keep my skills going. I was hoping one of these next certs will help me finally break into a security role and love the idea of pentesting but not sure if the CySA+ is more beneficial.

I’ve worked at startups, but this would be my first time helping build the HR function.

So I recently graduated in the fall semester from school, and I am now trying to find a entry-level full-time position in my field. I graduated with a BA in Cinema and Television Arts; specifically in Entertainment Media Management. I wasn’t able to do an internship because of work and personal stuff. Does anyone know any good tips of what entry level positions I should look into?

I have working in Deutsche Bank ever since.
Our team has gone through a very tough time cause few for the senior member left us. I have support very well and taken up all the roles of a Senior Analyst.
But, I am not happy with this year’s appraisal.
What should be the average salary at this point of Career.
Note- I have passedCA inter.
Currently pursuing CFA as I want to have a career in Financial markets.

What can I be doing in my current entry level tech consulting job to make me a great candidate for promotions/raises or changing jobs in the next year or 2?

Any EU attorneys who went for an LL. M. in international commercial law (or other) in Europe?

If so have you found it "worth" the year of your time? I am currently working at a firm that specializes mostly on commercial law and has a lot of foreign clients. I have some options regarding the possible LL. M. One of them is little less prestigeous that would allow me to stay working at law firm as I am studying. The other would mean taking a year off work and pursuing the LL. M, Thanks for help

So I’m in industry from big 4, and a colleague with same yoe comes from MBB. High paying tech firm. I think I work harder and produce quality content at speed, but they can hold executive conversations that tend to impress senior stakeholders.

Big 4 produces work horses and MBB produces leaders. Also they could be a work horse too since I don’t have full visibility.

Anyone have similar experiences or do I just suck at executive stakeholder management?

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.
