How do I write a compelling deal/matter sheet? I’m a lateral candidate in criminal defense, which means almost all of my most impressive cases involve highly confidential, pre-indictment representations. My resume looks a bit sparse because I legally and ethically cannot list the names of the high-profile executives or companies I’ve worked for. Recruiters are asking for a representative matters list.

You can list it without names. May be a bit tougher, but you can find other ways to add color on the nature of the matters/results. Most important is transferable experience and responsibilities.

You don’t have to say the names in the list, just highlight the deal and the skills

Hello all, need some advice. Am currently working for a government consulting agency, but wishing to leave due to the way the project is being managed...I am in at least 4-5 hours of meetings a day, so barely have time to prepare for demos, preparation of slides for the client, nevermind being able to write decent stories(tickets)... Usually have to rush writing requirements, steps, etc, ...
So I have been looking around.

I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house.
