When should a stub start getting worried about not having much work and low billable hours?
I’ve asked for work but no luck. I know they say this is normal for a stub but when should I start getting worried and consider looking for exit options? Fyi, I like my practice group, so I don’t want to change to a different group within my firm, hence would have to lateral, if I have to. Also, other co-1st years are churning in high hours.

Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US? If it matters, I am a 6th year and have been told that I will be expected to hire a junior or paralegal as we build up.

Would taking a director of legal operations position (jd preferred or a plus) make it hard to get back to practicing in a firm or another company?

I found this provider “Mariano Legal Academy” which offering to provide program fulfilling 16 credits required for 1st year in 1 day. I’m trying to check if the provider is Accredited but got no response yet. Anyone has any insights on this provider? If not, any recommendations of other providers providing CLE courses at reasonable prices?
