I thought my nights and points would merge. How do I make that happen?

During meetings I tend to get off track and sometimes even form words as my thoughts are forming. So my points are a bit incoherent or shape up at the end versus the start

What is the best credit card right now? I have mostly used my Marriott and Southwest for the points, but looking at other cards. Chase Freedom is not that great. Heard good things about Chase Saffire Reserve. Also thinking about non travel cards. And Amex. TIA!!!

Cap One just released an interesting new premium travel card with a lot of seemingly good perks (Venture X). I also looked at the CSP and the Southwest Priority card. My girlfriends family has Southwest and swear by it, with companion pass being the differentiator. I am in the DMV area and have mostly flown Jet Blue or Southwest. Any thoughts on this?

Rejected cause of immigration department after onsites?

I was interviewing for a tech role (non-SWE) and have an engineering degree but recruiter communicated today that although feedback from my onsites were positive they cannot proceed with me cause my role doesn't apply for TN visa and that was my only option since I'm not a US citizen.

Twice now I have been ghosted by hiring managers after my initial HR screen. It’s really got me feeling like shit.

My husband quit his very well-paying job in February to become a freelancer. I was fully supportive of this move because he was miserable at his job. He is hustling and trying to find work but it is slow. We are depleting our savings and I am stressed about our financial health and feel like retirement is getting pushed further out. Having to call Marriott to apply a suite night award to an SPG hotel on a reservation you made before the merger and combining accounts proves to you how much is still SO WRONG with this merger.

Looks like Green Choice got devalued by staying at 500 pts/night. A small factor, but kind of disappointing.

Arrived at a SPG property last week and had email confirmation and booking in the app but hotel didn’t have it - manager blamed merger IT issues, anybody else experienced this recently?

Will status for current year still be valid till February of next year in the new combined program?

Who is still having issues? Mine currently
1) Wrong lifetime night count (wrong on one and zero on other)
2) Missing reservations
3) Missing past stays
4) Discrepancy between website and mobile app

Looks like I lost 12 nights and points / nights are not combined with Marriott yet

Do y'all think they've just given up at this point. Chalk it up to a loss?

Do Starwood reservations eventually come over onto Marriott after you combine? Mine still haven’t...
