Dry shampoo is great at sucking up moisture and oils. If you want to get it closer to the root without the white residue, it comes in tinted powder forms too. I'd recommend putting a light layer on before the workout so it can start soaking it up asap.
Also putting your hair up in a high pony or high bun may help if you're not already doing so. While some of it will still wick up the hair, you won't have gravity helping to distribute the sweat throughout. You could also try a cloth headband as it may be able to wick some of the sweat into itself.
Curly girl here! I use a microfiber towel to dab the sweat and go in with a curl refresh. So it looks like I just washed! Or use a dry shampoo after your workout.
I haven't used it myself, but I've seen many in my gym wear a sweatband. Maybe that could help?
I feel you! Daily washes are a no-go for curly hair. I usually rinse with just water and conditioner or use a mix of dry shampoo and a light scalp refresh spray. Also, keeping my hair in a loose braid or pineapple while working out helps minimize the sweat buildup. Have you tried any of those?
Dry shampoo and i schedule my gym days in alternate so its at least every other day for me for hair washing (i guess that wouldnt work if you go everyday)
