How do you decide if a school is actually a good fit? I’ve attended info sessions, watched all the YouTube vlogs, read every blog post and somehow, they all start sounding the same. Every school claims to be collaborative, global, and innovative. I don’t want to fall in love with a brand just because it’s highly ranked.

Recruiting just let me know they will NOT be sending me to the the hiring committee but want to stay in touch about other potential roles. Is this what they tell everyone?

Interviewing question: for anecdotal “tell me abt a time when..”, & similar questions - are you allowed to recycle stories from your undergrad years or do they only look for post grad/work stuff? Afraid some of the stories that sounded okay at undergrad recruiting might now come across as a bit “lightweight” in this context...like would they eye roll if we start talking about that one time we did a science competition sophomore year of college (even though it taught an important lesson)..etc.🤔
