It's important to pick colors that reflect your personalities and style as a couple. You could start there and then decide to add some flair if you're up for it.
We chose bright colors for our May 2023 wedding instead of pastel (or, more accurately, lots of colors!) But my bridesmaids are wearing light sage green so that their bouquets pop more. I like color so it was an easy choice for me.
You don't have to follow the season. My friend got married in June in Texas but chose emerald green as her main color with other moody, fall colors.
If you don't have a strong opinion on colors I would suggest looking at real wedding pictures for inspiration, or picking you or your partner's favorite color and then looking up what goes well with it!

I'm thinking jewel tones personally, depending on the decor it can be done in a nice, festive way and not a dark moody way. Or you can go for favorite colors and pick out the right shading for your taste!
We took into account our favorite colors as well as the season and general mood we want to set for our wedding. So it went like this: we like blue and purple, it’s a winter wedding so add some green and white to complement and stick with more royal blue/navy and darker purples, and it’s a moody romance aesthetic so it fits.
We are going for generally colourful rather than specific colours. Our bridesmaids and groomsmen are in greys with bold colourful flowers.
Make some mood boards. Look at all the things from the pins and pull out what you like. Then put them together and mix and match colors until you find what you like visually the most.
I have to say that it was not easy for us to decide on one palette. There were so many we liked, but they were a bit too loud and colorful and that was just not us.
We ended up deciding by choosing two colors we liked and mean something to us, and one color of flowers the venue has, the remaining colors are to tie everything together.
I just went with my favorite shade of blue and know I love gold, so gold accents it is. Then ivory and greenery just go great with everything. Easiest decision so far lol.
My favorite color, his favorite color, appropriate metallic accent. Done. Can’t go wrong when they’re literally your favorites! Of course there are lots of schemes I liked and thought were pretty, but if blue is my favorite color every other day of my life, it’s good enough for my wedding too.
Colors from art that you enjoy.
Choose whatever makes you happy. We kept ours super neutral because I wanted it to look classic and not be too trendy. The greenery on the tables added color, but it was simple. I think you just have to find something that you love the look of.
You can pick colors based on your personality as a couple. But it is also important to choose something that would make you happy. Good luck!
What's your favorite color? You can either choose that or ask your partner for some suggestions.
You can actually mix your favorite color and his favorite color. Problem solved. Haha
Hello! I'd go for the color that would make me feel beautiful and pure. If this is solely based on your own decision, then that would be easier.
If you want 2 or more colors, you can ask your planner to help you combine those. You can also mix and match some colors. Best of luck!!
I took photos from my Pinterest board with florals, invitations, even just paint swatches I liked and then I used a color picker in Illustrator (you can do it in Canva as well) to make specific swatches of colors. It was really about trial and error for me. Weeding out the photos that didn’t fit the overall vibe I wanted and then narrowing down from there. You can even search for color palettes on Pinterest and screen shot ones you like and then make a custom palette from there. A lot of ones I saw were beautiful but not exactly what I wanted. Hope this helps!
All white weddings are becoming popular! I think that would look great with spring surroundings
