I got them wine, chocolate, and a face mask. No one cares about the custom stuff
I did postcards with pictures with each bridesmaid and a small giftcard. If they are a true friend, they will get excited for your wedding, not for the mugs and earrings.
No one needs another mug / water bottle / koozie. I’m with you OP
Take them to lunch and ask them then!! I wish my bridesmaids lived near me, we are all spread around the country.
I went to Etsy and ordered custom cards and wrote them a personal note. I wanted it to be meaningful. I gave it to them in person with a small bottle of bubbly
I’m rarely in the same city as my bridesmaids and sent each bridesmaid a gift that I knew they would respond to. Maid of honor received a proposal box with travel treats before her work trip, the others also received fun items they can incorporate into their lives.
I didn’t do anything—just called them. My fiancé and I couldn’t pay for wedding party attire but we decided any money we would have spent on gifts/proposals for bridesmaids/groomsmen would go to them directly to put towards their attire
