How long does HCL take to release the offer?

I have taken the interview on 27th July 2022 and next day I got an update that I am selected and I will be connected by HR for further proceedings.

With all details I have shared, I have been told that the approvals are pending and the offer will get released soon.

Now, they have mentioned it will be released next week.

I've had three interviews so far: 1) with the recruiter, 2) with the hiring manager, 3) with the lead of an adjacent division. I was contacted by the hiring manager (just 5 days after interview 3) asking if I was still interested and if I'm available for another meeting. He mentioned it would only take 30 minutes. I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?
