I think it's important to properly assess yourself and your contributions before requesting a meeting with your manager. Then, ask if you can schedule a meeting with them to discuss your career progression and compensation. It's best for them to be aware of what you want to discuss so you don't catch them totally off guard. Present your case confidently and specify your desired range so you aren't leaving them guessing about what you really want. And listen to what your manager has to say about your performance and future with the company. Even if they can't give you a raise today, you might be able to work together to develop a plan for the future. Good luck!! 💪

I talked the admin about it last Friday and went well. I was only getting $35/hour.
I mentioned my desired range $40-45, and they agreed to give me $40.
