Currently have a case where where plaintiff is claiming extensive lost wages from missing tips from working as a bartender/waitress. Place of employment is a strip club, I got a feeling she’s a dancer not a bartender or waitress. I’m noticing that a lot of recent graduates at my job don’t know many basic computer skills (ie. Copy and paste short cuts or how to use the Microsoft Suite at all). I’ve been tasked with creating trainings to teach them these skills but it’s concerning to see how this new generation is starting to lack these assets. What happened? Is anyone else experiencing this at their organization?

Need some benchmarks: What would average/good survey results be for a leadership skills class (instructor-led)? We ask for the participant’s experience (did you like it, would you recommend, etc.), and also send an impact survey out 2 months later to their manager (have you seen positive behavior changes since training). Our experience survey is at 92% positive and impact to behaviors is at 83% positive. Anything I can compare to in order to share the story with leadership?

I’m actively job searching but not receiving ideal hits. I see a lot of senior level L&D roles but not as many for specialist roles, specifically in tech. I have 5.5 years of experience. Any advice for me? I’m also seeking therapy for the trauma & coping, now ready for securing that next role!

I applied for a Director Learning and Development (L&D) role at McKinsey about a month ago via a referral. About a week ago, my McKinsey employee (who referred me) received an automated email saying that I had moved to the pre-screening process of the recruitment process and that I'll hear from the recruiter shortly.
