I was working at a Hotel one night & I saw a man appearing on two different floors, then in the stairwell. The man was in his 70’s or 80’s. He was wearing nothing but tidy whiteys. When he got to the front desk I asked “is everything alright? Are you okay?” (Assuming he may be senile),He wasn’t senile, he went swimming & wanted to make me uncomfortable and started to flirt while in his sopping wet see through tidy whiteys- and of course I had to clean up the water he tracked through the lobby.

I remember the feeling I got when I came back and saw my hometown's streets after months of deployment. It felt like returning to a better place, and the sunshine on my face never felt better.
Are any military officials from other countries willing to elaborate on what their life is like? Without deployments and such, what are y’all up to?
There's one thing that differentiates the American soldiers from others, and it's our love for our country. Agree?
We as the armed forces of the United States have a research department, but the greatest advances at the armament level come from private sectors, this could not be something counterproductive because if they sell a product to us, what deprives them of selling it to other countries?
I used to think my hometown was boring, but after being deployed for six months, there's genuinely no other place I would rather be in. Does that happen often? I moved to my hometown again and feel happier and at peace.
Things have changed so much, especially with technology. I'm afraid of how future warfare will look like... has anyone else thought about this?
I stumbled upon the service just looking for something to do with my life, and I was undisciplined and lacked any motivation to do anything. The military gave me a purpose and taught me about hardship and discipline; I'll always be grateful for that.

The GI bill gave a lot of people a good reason to sign up for military service, I'm wondering if there has been a dropoff after the announcement that student loans would be forgiven?
What do you think you would be doing if you hadn't joined the military? I think I would have been a math teacher or a farmer
Yes, the Coast Guard is a real branch of military service; and no, we are not a "budget Navy..." smh
Honestly, the key to success on the field is a competitive squad that complements each other in every possible way. My veteran buddies and I had this, and even today, when we get together for squad multiplayer videogames, we always dominate. The team and the strategy will always get you far.

My buddy brought his harmonica. We had a running joke that we were going to hide it from him. It made things a little more bearable just having something to joke about honestly
I sure hope you were better at playing than this one guy I served with, LOL, he was really awful at music but it was hilarious. I think he was probably doing part of it for laughs. I'm kind of hoping at least, or I'd feel like a real jerk for seeing the humor in it
