I like to get feedback, but only if it’s helpful on what I can do to improve. Being told you’ve messed up without anything else to it is when I’d rather just not hear anything more on it.

It’s always best to get feedback and to receive it in writing. This way you can track progress and accountability both for yourself and your employer.
I always want feedback. Why wouldn't you? If I screwed something up, of course I want to be told what I did wrong so I know how to avoid the issue moving forward.
