Just be smart, wear a mask, get vaccinated, and act like you’re in a pandemic. You don’t have to be a recluse or shut in but obviously you shouldn’t take unnecessary risks either. Covid does have serious risks to pregnant women. Not trying to scare you but leaving this from Harvard here: https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2022/01/study-shows-how-delta-variant-endangers-pregnancy/
My unvaccinated wife had two babies since the start of COVID, and we both have been around other unvaccinated individuals multiple times a month. All of us are happy and healthy.
I would not worry too much about it. Just keep taking your prenatals, eating healthy, and checking in with your healthcare providers.

The risk to the pregnancy earlier in the pregnancy is far less than the later stages (as in, while it’s best to avoid it, getting it at 10 weeks is safer than 35).
I took this photo from a sign at my OB. Thought it was worth sharing. I personally know a handful of women who have had complications in their pregnancy due to covid however it was at 30+ weeks. I also know ones who have gotten it with no issues other than just feeling sick :)
It’s not a big deal, especially if you’re vaccinated and don’t have pre existing conditions. 99% of pregnancy issues were in unvaccinated at the beginning of the pandemic. The important thing is keeping down any fever with Tylenol. I had it at 12 weeks (vaccinated) and no issue.
Thanks everyone. I am taking precautions but unfortunately had confirmed exposure to family members who had Covid so this was more of a concern after exposure. Since then I’ve been isolating and testing and doing my best to stay calm and safe. I had read things about increased risk of issues with placenta and still births so was very frightened. I appreciate the viewpoints shared here. 🙏
I’m 17 weeks and had Covid very early in my pregnancy. Since I felt so sick and could barely get up throughout the day I barely ate or drink fluids which caused dehydration. I went to the hospital and they had me isolated on an IV. Honestly the best advice is to stay hydrated and eat as much as you can.
