Hey!! People... Would request all the CA, CMA and CS professionals to join this bowl. So that people can share vacancies in Industry and refer each other...Bcoz after working in big 4 after sometime...we all know it's not possible to continue 😂😂!!
Please share with your friends as well
I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

This may not be the most comforting answer, but this is the hardest time with two kids under 3 (I have 2 21 months apart). We had our share of days (and nights!) that felt impossible and somehow we stumbled through and it really gets easier soon. They get bigger, your immune system gets better, and you all have routines you can count on even when you’re sick. I had so many times of self-doubt and feeling like I was delusional for thinking I could manage being a working mom. I’m not even so far out of it - my boys are 8, 6, and 3 - but it’s so much easier than it was when my oldest was a toddler! Sending you lots of determination and grace.
You managed to have 3?! 😭 I’m so impressed. We talked about 3 but I just can’t imagine it anymore.
It's awful 😞 grateful to have family close that can help. If you don't have the luxury, are you able to hire some help? When you are sick, can you get a babysitter if the kids are well? If everyone is down, order food etc and use screen time
I found care that met my family’s exact needs from www.nannylands.com. They personalize the search and match process based on the families needs.
Unless you have the luxury of family close by or only 1 spouse working, the answer usually is take time off work or power through with lots of meds.
Just here to say same. 16m and 3 this week. Going part time next month bc we need margin
At this point it’s likely you’re just always as I am. It’s an unmanageable load and the only thing that’s going to help is delegating things off your plate so you can breath and chill. Which has likely become foreign.
If you crash on Saturday you must sustain high cortisol during the week if I had to guess. I’m no doctor though. I’ve had a similar cycle of 1 per week lasting up to 2 days. Unfortunately triptans make me faint. Nurtec is great but also a million dollars depending on your insurance.
I’ve chosen to get the structure more sustainable rather than only Medicate the symptoms but even if you don’t - everyone tells me there comes a point when it just gets easier and you have more space. So not knocking on the power thru mindset bc i hear there is a light! 2 under 3 is just 😵💫
Do either of you have bright horizons backup care through work?
Used to but unfortunately not anymore; though heard from my previous colleagues that it was really hit or miss by city
