Personally, I’m a big proponent of giving them the tools and resources they need to succeed.
I built an overview of all the product/feature areas in Airtable (descriptions, screenshots, links to knowledge articles), along with a competitive landscape tracker. Then I give them a list of useful Zoom recordings (customer debriefs, onboarding sessions, demos) and access to PostHog to watch user session recordings. Lastly, I try to make any useful links or documents easily accessible in Slack Canvas.

Forget the products for the first two weeks or so. Start with the company mission, product vision, and product strategy, and product roadmap. Until a new PM understands what they are reading and can articulate it in their own words, it does not matter if the product is software or cereal. I made it a requirement in my organization of 22 product managers that everyone must know those four artifacts by memory every single day. Also, keep your PMs out of the technology party; my PMs could care less the technology selected by the those who get paid to make those decisions. Focus on outcomes and not the ingredients.
