Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

I have been working in the construction industry for 2 years under a general contractor. I am wanting to get into consulting and my ideal role would be something like an Associate in Major Projects Advisory with KPMG. I’m curious to know which firms/companies have positions and departments like the one mentioned that I could apply for?

My advice, if you’re stuck in low level work, consider applying to a nonprofit organization. There are lots of nonprofits that are starving for people to work for them, the pay maybe negligible in the beginning, but over time it can build to a career you’re proud of.
One of my first jobs was working for an AIDS charity; every month I had to cold call for service hours; it’s not glamorous but eventually you get into a rhythm and can knock out calls quickly.
The point is there’s a job out there for anyone whose willing to establish themselves.
I worked for a non profit in the past (hired thru a temp agency) but good idea to look into that more, thanks!
What type of call centers have you worked at? I had similar experience working in call centers and most of it was for a health insurance company. I was able to leverage that experience and get a non-clinical role in a healthcare system. Before that, I was also able to use my call center experience to get a role as a disability claims examiner. The role varies from company to company, but in the role I had, I only had to make outbound calls a couple of times a day to inform claimants of the claims process. There was still a phone component but it was way less than inbound and I controlled when I made the calls.
I work for a prescription referral service so I've been really looking into medical office jobs or medical transcriptions but most require a diploma
