How does increment work during IJP? Is there room for negotiation or is it pre-determined?

I am expecting an IJP from 27 to 28 with the current fixed at 27 being 26.25. Domain : Technical Product Management.

We recently sleep trained our 7 month son. He went from waking up multiple times during night and taking only 30 minute naps 3 times during day (most cases nursed to sleep or rocked to sleep or took a drive) to sleeping 12 hours at night without interruption and two 2 hour naps and one 45 minutes nap during day. We both love that he is getting enough sleep and well rested on one hand. On the other hand, we are now wondering if he is sleeping way too much.. contd…
