You’ve hit the nail on the head - it’s harder to get visa sponsorship today in SG than it was in years past, especially with firms who may have hit or are soon to hit their quota already.
Keep on the hustle, but I’d cast a wider net and look carefully at the job descriptions … as often times it’ll call out if visa sponsorship is offered for the role.
I echo @Apple1. Very difficult to get sponsorship these days. Many Singaporeans are having challenges finding jobs so there’s a general bias to hire locals unless the desired skill set is one only an expat might have. Companies also have to demonstrate that they couldn’t find a local (SG or PR) that could fill the role as part of the process for getting the visa sponsorship started.
Its the sector - there are still plenty of companies sponsoring and the actual numbers of EP's and Spasses havent dropped. However Marketing there are lots of good local talent that can fill roles.....
Unless you have something really niche skillwise then will be a struggle
