How have you used chatgpt or other openAI products to make your work life easier

I discovered chatgpt about a month ago I use it every day. It has changed my life. And my staffing plan for 2023.

I use it as a legal/regulatory research assistant, a proofreader, to paraphrase, to write biographies from linked in page, to write code (I wrote vba code for the first time in years because chatgpt did it for me and I didn’t have to remember or struggle), I edited a contract, got demographic information for a town in Germany were putting an office in, wrote a job description, wrote SOPs, wrote an employee handbook, a complex excel formula,
got a summary of regulations for a topic from every state in Germany, and more.

Personally, I used it to make a cocktail recipe with items on hand (kind of a joke but baileys, kahlua and OJ makes a cocktail that tasted like a chocolate orange cream candy); I used it to check a medical diagnosis, I helped my sister with her data science cert homework, it prepared a workout routine for me, wrote a children’s story about a lonely snowman, and told me what how I should dress for a headshot

So it’s replacing google for me and removing a lot of steps in between the search and the info that I really need.

It’s been a lot of fun.

I asked Chat gpt what a management consultant can use it for, this was the reply:

As a management consultant, ChatGPT can be used in several ways to make your work easier:

Report generation: You can use ChatGPT to generate reports, such as market research reports, feasibility studies, and project progress reports.
Proposal generation: You can use ChatGPT to generate proposals, such as business proposals, project proposals, and funding proposals.
Meeting summaries: You can use ChatGPT to summarize meeting notes, providing a quick and easy way to keep track of important points discussed during a meeting.
Data analysis: You can use ChatGPT to analyze data, such as financial data, customer data, and market data.
Email generation: You can use ChatGPT to generate professional and personalized emails, such as follow-up emails, client emails, and progress update emails.

Text data cleaning: You can use ChatGPT to clean text data, such as removing duplicates, correcting errors, and formatting text.
Text summarization: You can use ChatGPT to summarize large documents, such as contracts, regulations, and research papers.
And many more.
You can use the OpenAI API to access the capabilities of the model. You can also use the Hugging Face's transformers library to fine-tune the pre-trained model to your specific use case. It is recommended that you test the output of the model and review it before presenting it to clients or colleagues.

I use ChatGPT almost everyday to write my emails, segments of blog posts, and gives me a first pass for copy/headlines/etc.

I also recently used It to help a friend ask someone out on hinge. So chatGPT can also be a wing(wo)man

Yes I use it in my digital marketing business writing my content and ebook lead magnet. When it’s available, it’s a game changer

Are initial law firm consultations usually free? I’m on H1B and wanted to schedule an initial consultation with an immigration lawyer to discuss some GC options (outside of employment based) and was told I’d have to pay $200 for a consultation (45 mins session).

Am I being cheap for not wanting to pay that or are there firms out there that offer free consultations?
