Not the right place to ask this - no one here is going to openly say “yes the quality of our work is lower and should be discredited”.
Try a UK/Euro focused bowl to get insight on this, as they are the ones making this decision.

In 10-15 years you are retired habibis
The only TAX is the one you pay in EU/ US and that make you buy a small house in the outskirt of London with a 30 years loan…
Can’t wait to come back to EU retired in the late 40s, with a few mils in the bank account, with people who work 80 hours per week telling me that in ME we were not going in the 3rd level of insight…

It’s considered “the savior”
As UK and EU are sinking
And ME is giving job to everyone
I think there may be that perception especially from people who went to ME universities and only worked in region. If you went to western uni and worked there first, I’d say no impact - at least that’s how it was for me.
You will pay a “tax” when transferring or switching firms though as you need to rebuild your network, and your prior contacts/network doesn’t bring much value. This means you can only lateral, so not a huge impact.
What ‘Middle east tax’ are you talking about? We are literally the only market that is growing right now. And people lateral to US/UK all the time.
