Why am I considering this???

I recently got an offer to join Deloitte Consulting LLP as an Analyst in Government and Public Services in the Business Technology Solutions profile, based in their Harrisburg office.
(I also want to mention that I have offers from Accenture & PwC right now, with a good chance of IBM being another one)
The offer was 88k + 12.5k signing bonus.
A friend of mine got the same offer but his offer was 91k + 12.5k signing bonus. Difference is, he’s based in Chicago.
I’m fine with my offer now b
Deloitte audit Vs. Grant Thornton Tax. I have an offer from Grant Thornton and From Deloitte as an Intern this summer. Deloitte is the bigger name and pays a bit better but Grant Thronton has way nicer people and known to have a way better cultre and work environment. What should I do? Where should I go?Deloitte Grant Thornton

You should hear relatively quickly if you are chosen for an interview. You likely will never hear anything if you have been rejected.
As a fellow foreigner with full Australian work rights, there is quite a bit of discrimination against people without or with limited Australian work experience.
If you have experience as an Electronics Engineer don't be shy to apply for Electronics Engineer roles, someone might favor your willingness to work.
If your funds are currently limited then, sure take whatever unskilled job you can get, but perhaps don't mention it when applying for the engineering job.
Respect yourself first so others can follow your example.
Spot on here too. Also, companies might not be taking your application seriously because you seem too overqualified. It might be confusing them honestly. Or they will see it as just something you are going to do for a couple of months while applying elsewhere, so they would rather find someone they see staying longer term.
Even if it’s entry level, look into your field. If you still struggle consider an aligned diploma through TAFE to get something in your resume they will be familiar with, just to help bridge the cultural gap. Just an idea.
As an Australian who has lived overseas in many countries, I can attest and agree australia isn’t great for immigrants from a work perspective (not for the first job anyway).
Be patient and keep trying. Broadly, Australians love immigrants and other cultures, the pain point is more that Australians like to give preference to Australians. As a fairly small country we try to put our own first in order to build up and develop our workforce. So the intention is pure, but understandably frustrating for some.
On the up-side, once you land that first job and are here for a couple of years, we will consider you Australian now, and I promise it’s worth it. It’s just that initial hurdle.
