I’ve worked in long-term care, rehab facilities substance abuse utilization review case management. I absolutely love case management and you are and I have been continuously doing this for over 10 years and I don’t see myself in another specialty at this point! But you never know !

like

Case management opens up a lot of doors. It’s a great specialty. It was easy for me to transition from bedside to inpatient case management then outpatient case management

I was a late bloomer so only about 12 years. Done TCU, home care, and AL/memory care. Love my current job and have no plans to leave. I’m old and I hate change.

like

I’m totally with you on that. I hate change to your job is not easy at all very very difficult. I appreciate you.

A little over 10 years now. I’ve been in palliative and hospice for almost 2 years now and foresee myself doing this for the long term.

Got news that my house closing may have to be moved due to a delay in the sale of my home. My partner’s income was excluded in the DI ratio, but if it were included we’d be well under the % threshold and can be approved to close on time regardless of the sale of my house. However our mortgage company’s underwriting team has been painfully slow in confirming if her income qualifies. She’s been at her new job 1 month after a year off. Anyone with underwriting experience have insight?

Through a lot of comp discussions I heard a lot of talk of “making you whole” when things get better. Am I drinking the kool-aid by believing this? Is this just meant to prevent further questions that the firm does not know the answer to?
