I haven't been on here for months. Just got caught up in life and this crazy year. I am so glad to see many more of you have joined this group, because I don't know about you, but I am surrounded by people at work who think the opposite of the way I do. And right now, there is so much going on that I am terribly upset about and cannot talk about it at work unless I seek out the few who are conservative and have my values. 26 YO, make make roughly 130k TC and really wanting to get the new 2022 Accord Hybrid Touring trim. Great MPG and reliability. MSRP is just under 40k for the top trim. Good financial move or should I go with a lower trim such as the EXL or Sport which come in around the mid 20k-low 30k area.

There is this big bank where I'd love to work at, and after several interviews for various positions they end up promoting someone from within, even thou I understand it and think it’s good they promote their people, it left me feeling like I'm just being used to comply with the process.

Had a 4th interview Friday with a ~300 person start up that I thought went well (along with all of the interviews). Taking my shot in tech sales. Consulting was great experience but enjoyed the relationship and BD aspect more and didn’t see myself climbing to partner. Starting in a junior BD Rep role to learn prospecting and earn quota history. Took a big paycut for the potential future earnings as an Account Exec. Did I dun goof? Probably. But I’ll regret it forever if I didn’t take my chance now when I’m still single and young-ish.

I sent my resume in PDF to the headhunter. He put it in Word, reformatted the sections, changed some languages, sent it back to me for my review. Then he set up a call with me to go through all possible questions I may be asked in the interview, and give me sample answers. Now I’m confused
