Depends on the specific level they bring you in at
SC1 is 95k base
SC2 is 100k base
SC3 is 107k base
Comp system is a total comp system with specific number of credits for each level, bonus is based on promotions basically but effectively grosses you to the level you get promoted to. (There’s a firm number which acts as a multiplier, numbers below assume 1000 credit value). Basically comp system incentivizes promotions.
SC2 TC is 106k
SC3 TC is 121k
AS1 TC is 135k
Assuming you get promoted from SC1 to SC3 bonus would be 121-95 (salary) = 26k
SC1 to AS1 would be 135-95 = 40k
If you stay the same level that’s where it’s pretty bad
SC1 to SC1 would be 5k
SC2 to SC2 would be 6k
SC3 to SC3 would be 14k

This is the best answer to a question I’ve ever seen on this app. Well done, OW1

I don’t know.. this actually really confusing. What are all the levels? How do promotions work? You can go SC1 to SC3 all at once? First set is listed in base then others in TC. I can’t even see what tracks what.
It’s very clear of you read through it carefully. There are 3 levels of SC and one is expected to progress through these levels in any given year. Hence if you move from SC1-3, then OW1 has explained the related Comp. He has also explained the Comp if jumps from SC to AS in any given year.
Promotion or movement between the levels is directly dependent on your performance across multiple projects and little bit on firm contributions.
