How “strong” is marketing’s voice in your organization? Is the team seen as a integral part of successful operations with a strong voice in the room? Or are is marketing expected to just take orders as they come?

I find it interesting how the dynamic plays out across organizations. If it was more of the latter, what work did you do to change things?
