Have my closing interview with Accenture next week. So far the Director and MD I have met with have both liked me and the recruiter has said that they have both given me a thumbs up and that the upcoming closing interview with the MD is just a conversation. From my research I’ve also read that it’s just a sanity check to make sure I’m not a nutcase. Of course anything can happen, but I’m expecting an offer. (Cont)
Hi Applied to PwC Strategy& for a consultant role and havent heard back from a recuiter however, I received an email for a survey asking what am I looking for in the company in terms of their culture, values etc and what other companies I have applied to. Is this a typical process? Not sure if thats the step 1 in the process or I have been rejected. Any feed back is appreciated. I am graduating from Ohio State with an MBA and have 8 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance.
EY verbal offer rescinded:( Has this happened to anyone else? “We have had a change in our demand for our product team and we are having to reassess our hiring. I am placing your name on our list to follow up with once we have a better grasp on the next month or two’s availability and needs, this normally doesn’t happen once we get rolling in a hiring process however Q1 had had some changes this fiscal year”

My experience with HR at McKinsey was amazing. The HR at the firm would always pick up when I called and immediately say my name. (He later told me he had saved my number on his phone). Very smart recruiters that advocate for you and even change your application on their end to be one level above what you applied for. Even though I didn't get the job and am working at another firm now, the few months working with McKinsey's HR was an incredible experience. My tip is to just treat them how you would like to be treated, and understand they are busy folks!
