We can ourselves do it over the portal post exit .
It should be done by the organisation.
You cannot do it by yourself. Send an email request to your HR after your last day and keep following up. This is not important to them so they may procrastinate. But its very important for the employee.
It will be taken care by the organization itself
It should be updated by org.
If it’s not updated yet, drop an email to HR of previous org
Organisation will update in the pf portal before FNF from the organisation.
after 2 months of resignation you can update the DOE in the portal directly.

Once your F&F is done and your ex-employer has deposited the last PF contribution, you can go to the UAN portal and do 'Mark Exit' and select your LWD as the Date Of Exit (DOE) from the organisation.
Or you can send an email to the PF team of your ex-employer and they will do it for you.
Be careful while selecting the DOE because if you select the incorrect date then it can only be changed by the EPF office and for that you'd have to submit a Joint Declaration Form.
You can yourselve update it if within 2 months of Last working day its not done.
How to do that ???
you can do it urself if company hasnt updated it. Just put in ur lwd and it shud be fine
It will be automatically done after FnF, you can also do it manually. There is 'Mark Exit' option available in the portal.
What if it's been 3 months since exiting and neither you nor the company has updated it?
Trying to understand the importance of EPFO, and what would happen if the above is missed.
