But I think the West is making good money of us because of india's cheap labor force and India's brilliant minds of whom US takes advantage of because all these smart folks immigrate to USA and it helps the US grow. So even though I agree that we are getting jobs from the West.. Its not one-sided or the west isn't doing some charity that we should be grateful of and all
Correct may be even earlier , they will try not to stretch it longer in their own interest
Russia is India's tried and trusted friend. When ever india fought any war in the past Russia supported india.
And also Russia is the only trustes friend india have in unsc who can veto any resolution against india.
Ukraine supported Pakistan during war.
And now they are asking us to support them.
We have raised our concerns over current situation. That all the things should be resolved peacefully and diplomatically that's enough for the world.
For west we should not loose our friend.
West is responsible for this war.
Mainly Us and Nato
Also just for once look at how much aid US and World Bank has provided to India since Independence that helped in development.
India had always rejected any help from the west since Independence because it was trying to become communist and socialist until 1991.
Wise decision from India. India would have been fool to trust USA or UN. India needs a strong ally like Russia.

Cant you see your own hypocrisy, on one hand you say that you support democracy and on the other you are making dictatorial comments on people who don't agree with you. And you are using the same 2 points for everyone's counter.. US allowed Indians in the senate and US gives us jobs.
You are entitled to your opinions and its your right.. But be open to listen to other people's comments and give a suitable retort to that rather than just making sweeping remarks.
Try to understand political dynamics and don't think like Ukraine which is why they are in such state . Russia is the only country which has helped India in 1961 , 1971 Indo Pak War.
India is bound and supposed to support Russia to build strategic relationship ..due to india's changing policy on defence trade and other standpoint, Russia and China got closer ....no one had and will support India ever for UNSC seat , they just talk and play game like you have seen the present scenario with Ukraine . Russia is the only trusted ally which can support India for UNSC seat, rest everyone will do only talking and blabbering.
Don't worry about trade and all ...the world can't ignore Russia or India , today India is sixth largest economy of the world and bound to be third largest in next 10 yr .
China has not invaded India in Galwan , it was infiltration. China and Russia became good ally due to India's closeness with US
Also don't think a helpless beggar , the job you are doing is not only yours need but also of your employer who may be directly or indirectly extracting revenue from US or EU predominantly. They have not done any favour as they didn't have choice considering lower labour cost which India provides, like 50% of iron and steel consumption of world is fulfilled by China even many country don't like China

People have been bitching about USA and the west fail to realize thst 80-90% of the private jobs here depend directly or indirectly on the USA and the west.
These countries have really helped in making economy of India.

The current Russia is not the same superpower it used to be .
So from purely self interest it's not wise to support it.
Remember Russia is ally of China while West is the common enemy.
Imagine if India supports Russia in war and USA puts sanctions on India forbidding American companies to do Business in India.
All Tech jobs would vanish in no time. This would be just one of several consequences and we would be pushed 20 years back in time .
Don't get mislead with false narrative thrown on internet it's against the interest of majority of users in this forum who owe their jobs to western countries.
OP I understand you have a inkling towards the US. But they didn't make an Indian a VP.. She is a US citizen, born and brought up in the US. And even countries like Canada, Australia, Japan, South africa and many more have had politicians of Indian origin. And of US safeguarding freedom in the world, I think its a bit much to say a country that has attacked Vietnam, Iraq and all is "safeguarding freedom". I am not saying US hasn't contributed to world peace and all but saying they are the sole or the forefront country seems wrong to me.
