*How to ensure retainment promises are fulfilled*


Decided to get retained at present firm but Manager clearly said we cannot provide candidate the new offer letter or numbers in writing/ mail as some have used it ahead with the new firm for salary revisions.

LWD is before the salary reflection date in present firm.

Please suggest if you have any other way to ensure the present firm gives what is agreed.

I have two offers in hand. KPMG and Deloitte. CTC is almost same whereas variable is more in KPMG. I am inclined towards Deloitte India. But HR in KPMG told me that I won't be able to join KPMG India in future as I accepted their offer. I informed her within 2 weeks and didn't do anything for onboarding. I didn't ask to increase the amount or JB and I strongly believe I informed early so they can look for other candidates. Is this bluff? Any HR here to clarify
