Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

I would hate it. Then I would set out with a cunning plan to try and influence them. Then I’d probably open my mouth and say something inappropriate and get fired 😆 seriously- find examples of comparable firms who have modernised to reflect todays cultural climate and present those examples as something to strive for in the future - then lead them on that journey?
I had a shift in perspective at my last agency and told my boss that I didn't want to continue working on any business that conflicts with my morals (alcohol, gambling, vaping, cannabis). They respected me telling them and moved me onto other business.
It's a big risk — you're basically telling the company that you are now less versatile — and thereby on paper, less valuable.
So it's up to you to prove how you can compensate for that lost value, and do it at the risk of them one day just "not being able to find a place for you".
But that's the price of morals, and I'm still sticking to it.
Also +1 to the SVP above's reco to find comparable firms that modernised /// pitch how taking a stance against those businesses can attract other prospective clients
