Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.
Can I get some likes please

I would give it to them straight but also say, "This job isn't for everyone but it is a job...that pays. You have to decide for yourself if this is what you want" 🤷
This is exactly what I would do and have done in the past when I had to do inteviews at a company that I didn't love.
I would accentuate the positive to attract a positive candidate. I as a manager would try to create perks to keep good workers. I would arrange a meeting with my boss to see how communication with him and our work group could be improved. I would try to cross train employees in the group so no one would need to be contacted during their vacation. And finally I would give praise and gratitude for any positive work an employee produced.
I'd recommend being honest. People can usually tell if you're lying about your work and how you feel about it.

I think different people can handle office culture differently than others so what might be trash for one could be acceptable to another. I wouldn't paint a rosy picture, but I also wouldn't make it out to be a nightmare. I may something like, it can be stressful at times, but the team I work with is a supportive. And that's if you have a supportive admin team. Full in a positive about the job that applies to you. At the end of the day, you also don't want it to blow up on you if word gets out that you're talking down on your employer to people.
I tend to lean toward honesty, but there's also the matter of discretion. If you denigrate your current employer in a job interview it may just make you look bad. You can come off as a malcontent and a constant complainer. It goes without saying you're not happy with your job, as you're looking for a new one. Best to make it about your future and what you see yourself doing, and not get into too much negativity.
You don’t have to lie, but I also wouldn’t go out of my way to be honest. Facts are if you are still working there, those kinds of things can get around and cause grief. Answer honestly, maybe pleading the 5th as necessary! 😂Seriously though, it is really hard being in a toxic place.
Hello, my name is Jacquelyn, I am interested in the admin position you have available. Please respond to me. I am located in Virginia.
Exactly why I’m NOT returning after maternity leave 😂
