Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

For anyone using Khan Academy and Canvas I made a free application built on a Google Spreadsheet that reads in Khan Academy CSV files and sends the scores to the Canvas gradebook. Demo video below and link to site. Hope it helps someone! The setup takes a bit but it has made grading Khan exercises so much easier and quicker.

Hello, I worked that for the VA in that position about 8yrs ago but in Texas. It’s a great organization to work for. The benefits are amazing, pay raise every year and lots of opportunity for promotions or moving up into other positions once your in the system.
Pro tip: DIG IN to benefits. If there’s a contract, review it line by line. Idk how CA does it but in NY all the government agencies have become completely antiquated in benefits. For example, I had to actually pay my county to go on maternity leave - they forcibly took all of my paid time off and left me 100% unpaid for the remainder of my time off. No disability, no state funded family leave. I am guaranteed raises every year and am paid *fairly* well for my area, but health insurance is extremely costly here and we’re forced to contribute 3% of our income to the retirement system, while their contributions are pathetic compared to a private company where I’d be able to choose what I send to retirement and many of them are matching big numbers right now. Just dig deep
I'm thinking long term . Do they give raises each year or ? And what does the pension plan and benifits look like ?
PENSION!! Benefits!! Retirement comes at you fast!!!!
